While most recently working at FRCH Design Worldwide, Phillip served as Vice President of Concept Design. In his 12 years with the design firm, he worked as Creative Director on Worlds of Discovery Dubai, dining and retail concepts for Busch Gardens, Seaworld and Discovery Cove, along with development and theming of such projects as Shanghai Disney and a proposed 10,000 Room Tropicana Resort in Las Vegas.
Prior to his work with FRCH, Phillip was employed by MGM/Mirage Design Group, where he conceptualized designs for MGM/Mirage hotel and casino properties in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Upon graduation from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, Phillip was hired by Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, CA. Rising to the rank of Concept Design Director in Creative Development, his 12 years of concept work and illustrations were strategic in selling the multi-billion dollar project, Tokyo Disney Seas, to the Oriental Land Company in Japan. During this time he also served as concept designer on projects at the EPCOT Center, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World, along with expansion concepts for the Disneyland Resort and Paris Disneyland Resort. He was part of the early visualization team for Hong Kong Disneyland.
